Those unsightly green, brown and black stains on your property are actually living creatures! And as with all living creatures, they have to EAT. So if they are present on your roof, siding or driveway, then yes... they are eating it. Plus, they can even spread through the air to other surfaces. These organisms drastically reduce the lifespan of your roof and other surfaces too. Plus... they look horrible!

Here at
KleenNBrite, we have proven methods to stop them completely in their tracks! Not only do we kill the organisms themselves... but their spores as well. However, due to the perfect growth conditions we have year-round in Florida, no approach is permanent and requires treatment once or twice per year to keep them gone.

KleenNBrite Science

Gloeocapsa magma is a species of cyanobacteria, an ancient line of photosynthesizing bacteria. Their spores are spread mainly by wind but also by animals. They establish unsightly colonies wherever there is a consistent food source. It CONSUMES the limestone used as filler in asphalt shingles and in concrete as well. And it grows in Florida year-round.
Chlorophyta is a taxon of green algae informally called chlorophytes. They possess chlorophyll and draw sustenance from light. However due to their wet, slimy consistency, they still degrade and weaken any surfaces they colonize. They often accompany Gloeocapsa and speed up degradation by helping to block sunlight and provide extra nutrition. Grows in Florida year-round.
